The Dutch shipyard will be attending as a participant of Motorboot Sneek with the new Discovery 42 OC and the completely customised Discovery 45 AC. Shortly before that, both models will have made their world debut during HISWA Amsterdam.

The first newcomer and absolute eye-catcher in Sneek is the bright red Discovery 42 OC. The yacht is the second variant based on the Discovery OC that debuted two years ago as 46 OC (14 metres). With this 13-metre long yacht, Super Lauwersmeer responds to the demand for a more compact OC yacht.

Characteristic of the Discovery 41 ‘Y not’, like the one that can be marvelled at in Sneek, is the modern designed exterior in combination with an equally modern designed interior. The choices in material and colour, decided on together with the customer, make this yacht into one of the most modern the shipyard has ever built.

The owners of this Discovery 42 OC are real bon vivants, they love to cook and drink good wine. The fact that the salon and cockpit are located on the same level fits right in with that lifestyle. The kitchen is the centrepiece and is located at the aft of the yacht. With the salon doors open, it feels as if you’re cooking outside. Can you see yourself busying around in the kitchen while your guests are enjoying a glass of wine in the cockpit near you?

Besides the spacious and light salon, the Discovery 42 OC offers berths for 4 people, a sanitary cell unit and a room with washing machine and dryer. All available space on the yacht has been optimally used in order to offer the same comforts on the water that people have at home

Second premiere: Discovery 45 AC 'Customized'

The second Super Lauwersmeer in Sneek is a fully customised version of the much-praised Discovery 45 AC. The yacht was built and designed from A to Z together with the owners.

The unique thing about the Discovery 45 AC are the large salon and two spacious cabins. The cabins are situated at the front and aft of the yacht for maximum privacy. Both cabins have their own bathroom, complete with shower, toilet and sink

With the Discovery 45 AC ‘Siam’, Super Lauwersmeer shows us a perfect example of custom work by the shipyard and how they fulfil their customers' dreams.
