It’s all about Motorboat Sneek during the weekend of April 5th, 6th and 7th. The semi–annual water sports fair is gearing up for its spring 2024 edition that weekend. We will be docking there with two models from the Discovery line, ushering in our anniversary year.
Super Lauwersmeer launches its anniversary year at Motorboat Sneek
In the late 1960s, at the edge of Lauwersmeer, the groundwork for our shipyard was established. By 1969, we commenced the construction of small steel boats, which gradually evolved into steel motor yachts. Now, 55 years on, we mark this milestone by launching our celebrations at the spring show of Motorboot Sneek.

Rave reviews in the international water sports media and nominations in 2016 for Power Boat of the Year at Boot Düsseldorf and Motorboat of the Year at HISWA. Ever since its launch in 2015, the Evolve 46 OC has been a true eye-catcher on exhibition floors and in magazines. And so, Gerard Fortuyn and his wife were extremely grateful to be the proud owners of the first Evolve 46 OC built by Super Lauwersmeer. Eight years later, with pain in their hearts, they bid farewell to their beloved "one-off" Linquenda.

Motorboat of the Year Innovation Award 2023 for SLX54
The Super Lauwersmeer SLX54 was named "Motorboat of the Year 2023" with a unanimous vote by the jury. On the eve of the HISWA te Water, this "Innovation Award" was presented to boatyard owners Bastiaan, Louis Jousma, and yacht architect Arnold de Ruyter. The trio took to the stage in Lelystad to loud applause.

We will moor two of our yachts at the Bataviahaven in Lelystad from the 30th of August to the 3rd of September. At HISWA te Water 2023, we will showcase the award-winning SLX54 and the Discovery 46 OC Longroof. For the SLX54, the 2023 edition of the HISWA will be memorable in several ways.

After winning the European title, the SLX54 is now in the running to receive a prestigious award in the Netherlands. The jury, consisting of prominent figures from the water sports industry, has nominated the SLX54 for the title "Dutch Boat of the Year 2023".
