Super Lauwersmeer builds completely customized Discovery 45 AC
It’s a prime example of how they fuse almost 50 years of shipyard experience with specific customer wishes.
Stepping from the quay onto the aft of the Discovery 45 AC ‘Siam’, you can hardly miss one of the most specific wishes: an extended swim platform. This platform was made to make it easier to come aboard, while also offering addition storage space for four bikes.
Comfortable outdoor seating
As you walk the ergonomic stairs to the upper deck, the spacious aft deck will without a doubt immediately catch your eye. The lounge sofa is larger and the extra large canopy allows for a very spacious and comfortable ‘outdoor’ seating area. Thanks to the innovative roof construction and foldable radar arch, the yacht is able to sail even past the limited vertical clearance in France.
Spacious salon
Descending from the aft deck into the salon, the custom work will be even harder to miss. The salon is designed to provide enough room for four adults to spend long nights at the dinner table. There is even an extra fridge in the salon, so that a cold drink is always within reach.
Plenty of storage
Practical convenience plays a major part in this Discovery 45 AC. All available space is designed for closets, from closets with shelves and hanging wardrobes to a cellar in the kitchen. At the back of the yacht, there’s a laundry room complete with washing machine, dryer and ironing board.
Two large cabins and two bathrooms
At the front and aft of the yacht, there are two large sleeping cabins as well as very spacious bathrooms, so that two couples can enjoy long journeys together with enough privacy. The floors on the yacht are entirely level and the yacht offers all necessary comforts, from underfloor heating to air conditioning, from a Quooker water tap to a dishwasher and large fridge with deepfreeze drawers.
