With its length of almost 15 meters, the Evolve OC will earn the title 'largest yacht at the HISWA'. The yacht will be a highpoint for visitors to the fair, and Super Lauwersmeer will have a great stage to present its skills. With the Evolve OC, the shipyard's calling card, the Frisian shipbuilder displays its 45 years of experience. This expertise is discernible in every single detail, as well as in the name. 'Evolve' refers to the evolution that the company has gone through since it was founded in 1969 – a steady climb to the top of the Dutch shipbuilding industry. The Evolve OC is a yacht that combines style and classic elements with a robust look and dynamic lines. It is a ship for which innovation and attention to detail were clearly the top priorities, without ever compromising the company's history.

Nomination for Motorboat of the Year 2016

During the HISWA, the Evolve OC will meet four other Dutch yachts that are also nominated for the 'HISWA Motorboat of the Year 2016' award. Super Lauwersmeer is extremely proud to have been nominated. "It's a laurel wreath for our work", say Bastiaan and Louis Jousma, the owners of the yard. The jury praises – just as the press recently did as well – the Evolve OC's distinctive and revolutionary design, and is also quite taken with the quality of the construction, the level of finishing and the option for every customer to have their ship completely custom-built.

The criteria that the Evolve OC was nominated for, have for many years been the core elements of our shipyard's quest for perfection. "This nomination confirms that Super Lauwersmeer is a pioneering company and that its decades of experience are truly recognised", the brothers continue.

Open cockpit, Central Sleeper, Hardtop and Aft cabin

The Evolve OC comes in two sizes: 48 feet (14.6 metres) and 52 feet (16 metres). The shipyard furthermore offers the option to construct the yacht as a Central Sleeper, with a large captain's cabin across the full width of the hull, or an Aft Cabin (AC) and Hardtop. The Evolve OC starts at € 710,463.- including 21% VAT. The shipyard guarantees ample standard equipment and furnishings. Combined with the quality of construction and the high degree of finishing, the Evolve OC offers a great price-to-quality ratio.
