Modern windows, the vaulted roof and powerfully shaped bow make the Discovery OC the most dynamically styled Super Lauwersmeer ever. But space has never been of secondary importance. Like any Super Lauwersmeer, and in particular the Discovery series, the open cockpit is particularly spacious and practical. The owner's cabin is located in the generously spacious bow and adjacent are the comfortably sized bathroom and separate toilet.

Outdoor-feeling

The beauty of the Discovery OC is that the living space is on one level. When walking from the open cockpit to the lounge you pass the kitchen which makes it connected to the cockpit. A cold drink is therefore within easy reach and, thanks to the large open roof, it gives the feel of an outdoor kitchen.

Under construction

Currently at the shipyard in Noordbergum construction is underway of the first Discovery Open Cockpit. The hull has been built and painted. Around the summer the yard hopes the yard to launch this first Discovery OC.
