Thanks to the unique Zebrano wood, the concrete look floors and tasteful details, this very first Discovery 42 OC belongs to one of the most modern styled yachts ever built by the Frisian shipyard.

The owners of this Discovery 42 OC are real bon vivants, they love to cook and drink good wine. The fact that the lounge and cockpit are located on the same floor fits right in with that lifestyle. The kitchen is the centrepiece and is located at the back of the yacht. With the salon doors open, it feels as if you’re cooking outside. For long and comfortable journeys

The Discovery 42 OC is equipped with all the necessary comforts for a long and comfortable journey. Thanks to an innovative folding system, additional workspace can be created in the kitchen and the yacht has plenty of available storage space, a cellar for provisions and even a wine cooler.

Largest owner’s cabin in its range

Below deck, you will find both cabins and sanitary cell unit. The owner’s cabin is the largest in its range in part thanks to the straight shape of the bow. There is plenty of space to walk around the large bed and the skylight ensures a gorgeous incidence of light. Fans of long journeys can eat their heart out due to the large wardrobes, washing machine and dryer. They can even enjoy taking a shower in the spacious sanitary cell unit.

The comforts of home

Super Lauwersmeer developed the 42 OC, which is 1 metre shorter than the 46 OC, especially for those who are happy with a 13-metre yacht or those who want a smaller yacht due to their mooring place or other practical reasons. Nevertheless, the interior is spacious and all available space on board has been used optimally to guarantee the ‘comforts of home’ that we have come to know of Super Lauwersmeer.

Modern and economical power train

The driving gear in this yacht is a very silent 150HP diesel engine in combination with the specially optimised underwater hull that guarantees very low consumption and excellent specifications.

Passion for perfection

Just like any other Super Lauwersmeer, the Discovery 42 OC is built entirely from body to technology at the modern shipyard in the Frisian town of Noardburgum. Their passion for perfection that is the motto of the shipyard established in 1969 reflects in every single detail.

World debut at HISWA Amsterdam

The Super Lauwersmeer Discovery 42 OC can be admired during HISWA Amsterdam (29 August – 3 September 2017) and Dutch yacht show Motorboot Sneek (3-5 November 2017).
